Finnair suspends flights to Dubai for the 2026/27 winter season

Finnair is canceling the connections between Helsinki and Dubai for the winter season from 25 October 2026 to 27 March 2027 due to ongoing instability in the Middle East. The airline is continuously monitoring the security situation and reserves the right to further adjust routes and operations if needed. Finnair records 9.3% more passengers in July despite regional disruptions

Finnair carried a total of 1,243,800 passengers in July 2026, an increase of 9.3% year on year. Revenue passenger kilometers rose by 6.2%, available seat kilometers increased by 3.6%, and the seat load factor was 85.0%. Finnair negotiates with Starlink and Amazon over Wi‑Fi equipment for fleet

Finnair is in talks with Starlink from SpaceX and Amazon’s Leo service to equip its aircraft with Wi‑Fi and expects to have a plan for the offering later this year.
