Frontier Developments reported an adjusted operating profit of £19.0m (+44%) for the fiscal year to 31 May 2026 on revenue of £104.8m (+16%). Nearly 90% of revenue came from building and management simulations, driven by "Jurassic World Evolution 3" and ongoing sales of "Planet Coaster" and "Planet Zoo". Liquidity stood at £44.0m; the company bought back £15.5m of its own shares and reduced voting rights by 10%. Frontier Developments has announced the development of Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Deathwatch for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The turn-based tactical RPG is being developed by Complex Games in collaboration with Games Workshop as a sequel to Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters and features nine classes, battles against seven factions, detailed squad customization and a new skirmish mode. Frontier Developments has completed its buyback programme launched on 26 February 2026, acquiring 1,429,327 ordinary shares for £5,324,411 at an average price of 372.51 pence per share. After completion, the number of issued ordinary shares stands at 39,478,535, of which 3,947,854 are held in treasury, leaving 35,530,681 voting shares. In the current financial year the company has invested £15.4 million in the purchase of 3,947,854 shares, together with an earlier buyback, reducing voting rights by 10%.
