  • Fulgent: phase‑2 data on cancer drug FID‑007 show 60% response rate

Fulgent published an abstract of the open‑label, randomized phase‑2 study of FID‑007 in combination with cetuximab, which will be presented at the ASCO meeting on June 1, 2026. Among 42 evaluable patients with recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, the objective response rate was 60% and median progression‑free survival was 7.2 months; median duration of response was 7.4 months. The safety profile consisted mostly of grade‑1/2 events; grade‑3/4 events included neutropenia and anemia, and in arm B a treatment‑related death due to pneumonia was reported. According to the analysis, Fulgent has more liquid assets than liabilities, but the stock has fallen 45% over the past six months and is considered undervalued. » More on de.investing.com

  • Fulgent misses Q1 revenue forecast after customer loss, positive FID‑007 data give hope

Fulgent reported Q1 2026 revenue of $71.1 million and a loss per share of $0.36, both well below analyst expectations; the company attributed the decline mainly to its largest customer moving to internal capacities. Despite margin pressure and negative operating cash flow, strong Phase‑2 data for FID‑007 stood out (ORR 51%, median PFS 7.8 months), and management plans an FDA meeting and the preparation of a Phase‑3 protocol. Fulgent maintains its full‑year guidance of $350 million, emphasizes its liquid balance sheet and is banking on recent acquisitions and the therapeutic pipeline, but must overcome cash burn, margin pressure and stabilize revenue. » More on de.investing.com

  • Fulgent reports Q4 results: stock falls after departure of major customer

Fulgent reported Q4/2025 revenue of $83m (below expectations) and surprised with non‑GAAP EPS of $0.16. The stock plunged about 22% in premarket trading after it emerged that the largest customer (22% of 2025 revenue) will bring testing in‑house. The company forecasts 2026 revenue of $350m and a non‑GAAP loss per share of ($1.45), but expects strong headwinds through mid‑2026. Fulgent highlights a strong balance sheet ($336.1m in cash and marketable securities as of 12/31/2025) and progress in its therapeutic pipeline around FID‑007 as a long‑term value driver. » More on de.investing.com
