Grand Canyon Education beats Q1 EPS estimates, revenue slightly below expectation
Grand Canyon Education reported adjusted Q1 EPS of $2.86 (estimate $2.82) on revenue of $308.76 million (expectation $309.34 million). Grand Canyon Education increases share buyback program by $300 million
The board of Grand Canyon Education approved a $300 million increase to its existing share buyback program, bringing the total authorized since the program began to $2.545 billion. The buyback mandate runs through March 1, 2027, and repurchases may be made on the open market or through privately negotiated transactions. At the same time, Grand Canyon University confirmed formal recognition as a nonprofit institution by the U.S. Department of Education.
