Hero MotoCorp beats Q1 expectations for revenue and profit
Hero MotoCorp reported Q1 revenue of 129.99 billion rupees (up 36% year on year) and earnings per share of 72.63 rupees, both above analyst expectations. Growth was supported by higher sales volumes, a better product mix and price increases, while commodity inflation weighed on gross margins and the EBITDA margin (13.3%). EV sales rose sequentially to 57,000 units and the company plans to triple EV capacity by the end of the fiscal year; the medium-term EBITDA margin target remains 14–16%. » More on de.investing.com
Hero MotoCorp to invest up to ₹10 billion in Ather Energy, shares rise
Hero MotoCorp approved an investment of up to ₹10 billion in Ather Energy via a preferential allotment of additional equity shares and securities. The stock then rose 6.8%; operational metrics support the interest: June retail sales +114% to 31,188 units, year-on-year sales for FY2026 +63% with significantly reduced losses. Competition remains intense, and a political environment with possible restrictions on petrol two-wheelers from FY2029 strengthens the tailwind for established e-players. » More on de.investing.com
