Hornbach increases sales and keeps adjusted Ebit stable despite cost pressure

Hornbach closed fiscal year 2025/26 with sales up 3.8% to €6.4 billion despite a difficult consumer environment. Adjusted operating profit (Ebit) was €264.7 million, only slightly below the previous year. Shareholders are to receive a dividend of €2.40 per share. For 2026/27 management expects sales at or slightly above last year’s level and adjusted Ebit roughly in line with the prior year, but sees ongoing cost pressure and potential geopolitical risks. » More on manager-magazin.de
Hornbach recalls DSK mirrors over risk of falling and injury

Hornbach is announcing a recall of DSK-brand mirrors manufactured between December 2023 and July 2024 and sold since February 2024. On affected models the hanger bracket can come loose, causing mirrors to fall and shatter. Consumers should stop using affected mirrors, take down any already mounted mirrors, and contact dsk.service@d-b-k.de by e-mail to request a retrofit kit or to arrange a return with retrofit; a purchase receipt is not required. » More on kurier.at
