Hornbach’s preferred share gained 6.2% to €86.75 after preliminary second-quarter figures exceeded the analyst consensus on adjusted EBIT by about 5% and on sales by about 3%. Net sales rose by roughly 7% to €1.8 billion by the end of August, and adjusted EBIT improved 13% to just under €125 million.
