Intuit warns of slower growth for fiscal 2027 despite strong FY2026 results

Intuit reported stronger-than-expected fiscal Q4 and full-year 2026 results, with revenue up 14% and GAAP EPS of $16.46 for the year (non-GAAP $24.27). The company guided to slower growth in fiscal 2027, forecasting Q1 revenue around $4.3 billion (about 11% growth) and full-year revenue of roughly $23.4 billion (9–10% growth) with GAAP EPS of $20.12–$20.36. Intuit after guidance warning: Wall Street downgrades stock

Intuit forecast 9–10% revenue growth for fiscal 2027, missing analysts' expectations. The shortfall was attributed to weaker Mailchimp revenue, declining desktop products and a lower average revenue per TurboTax customer. Several U.S. banks subsequently cut ratings and price targets: JPMorgan lowered its rating to "Neutral" and cut the price target from $605 to $331, while Bank of America downgraded from "Buy" to "Neutral" and trimmed its target from $400 to $360. Intuit cuts 2027 outlook sharply, shares tumble in premarket

Intuit beat Q4 expectations on revenue (about $4.4bn) and adjusted EPS ($4.03) but disappointed with a significant downward revision for fiscal 2027. The company now expects revenue growth of just 9–10% (previously 14%) and adjusted EPS of $22.88–23.12, versus an analyst consensus of around $27.30. For TurboTax, Intuit forecasts only 2–3% growth, and Q1 adjusted EPS guidance of $2.44–2.48 is far below the roughly $4.02 consensus.
