Intuitive Machines awarded NASA contract for EAGLE‑VSWIR Earth‑observation mission
Jet Propulsion Laboratory has contracted Intuitive Machines to provide the IM 300 spacecraft platform, system integration of the VSWIR hyperspectral instrument, and mission operations and ground segment for the EAGLE‑VSWIR mission. Launch is planned for 2028; the instrument will perform biological and geological surface observations from Earth orbit and test technologies for future lunar and Mars missions.
