Ipsen raises 2026 outlook after sales and earnings increase in first half

Ipsen reported first-half revenue of €2.19 billion (+20.4%) and adjusted EBIT of €844.90 million (+28.8%), both above analysts’ estimates. The core operating margin rose to 38.6% and all three therapy areas contributed to growth beyond Somatuline. The company has raised its 2026 guidance and now expects revenue growth of more than 20% at constant exchange rates and a core operating margin above 37%; a currency headwind of around -1% is expected. Ipsen appoints Catherine Bradley to the board

Ipsen has appointed Catherine Bradley with immediate effect as an independent director on the board. She succeeds a departing member, has been named chair of the audit committee and will serve on the remuneration committee. Bradley brings more than 30 years of investment banking experience and extensive board experience, including roles at Merrill Lynch, Crédit Suisse and BNP Paribas, and has chaired audit committees at several large companies. Ipsen acquires Memo Therapeutics and strengthens pipeline with Potravitug against BK virus

Ipsen has completed the acquisition of Memo Therapeutics and thereby acquired the asset Potravitug, a monoclonal antibody targeting BK polyomavirus in kidney transplant recipients. In the phase II SAFE KIDNEY II study, Potravitug demonstrated antiviral activity and regression of BK‑virus–associated nephropathy.
