LondonMetric and Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust (SREIT) have agreed a share takeover of Picton Property Income Limited valued at about £404m. Picton shareholders will receive 0.190 LondonMetric shares and 0.894 SREIT shares for each Picton share; the offer values each Picton share at 78.7p and represents a premium to recent prices. Assets will be split according to the debt structure: LondonMetric will take 46% (22 properties, £320m plus net cash), SREIT 54% (22 properties, £382m). LondonMetric has issued 6,202,047 ordinary shares under its scrip dividend programme in connection with the fourth quarterly interim dividend of 3.3 pence per share. The dividend was announced on 21 May, the record date was 5 June 2026, and admission of the new shares to the Official List and trading on the London Stock Exchange is expected today. After the issue the share capital comprises 2,350,984,105 ordinary shares of one vote each; the company holds no own shares. LondonMetric Property has successfully placed its first senior unsecured green bond of £500 million. The issue is split into two tranches of £250 million each (4 years, coupon 4.50%; 7 years, coupon 4.875%) and was 3.2 times oversubscribed. The securities will be admitted to trading on the International Securities Market of the London Stock Exchange on 10 December; a Fitch rating of A‑ is expected. A banking syndicate led by ABN AMRO, Barclays, HSBC and NatWest accompanied the transaction, which diversifies funding sources and extends the company’s average debt maturity. » More on de.investing.com
