  • LPP cuts growth targets and outlook – shares plunge

LPP reduced the target for Sinsay new openings in 2026 from 950 to 750 locations and lowered the revenue forecast for the fiscal year to around 26–27 billion PLN, which unsettled investors. Despite a rise in group net profit to 475 million PLN and higher operating profit, the market reaction was dominated by the strategic pullback in store expansion and weaker revenue growth in the first quarter (10.5% year on year). Management plans a slower pace of new openings from 2029 of 300–350 locations per year, with a stronger focus on profitability rather than rapid growth. The share fell intraday to 20,220 PLN and remains well below the 52-week high. » More on de.investing.com
