Mayr-Melnhof increases profit in H1 2026 despite revenue decline, shares fall

Mayr-Melnhof reported revenue of EUR 1.85 billion in the first half of 2026, an adjusted EBITDA of EUR 200 million and an adjusted operating profit of EUR 90 million, raising the EBITDA margin to 10.8%. The Fit-For-Future cost-cutting program delivered EUR 105 million in H1 and is expected to exceed EUR 330 million by 2027. The Pharma & Healthcare division significantly improved margins, while Board & Paper suffered from price pressure and weighed on results by about EUR 70 million.
