Berenberg raises Mobileye to buy: margin gains outweigh concerns over CEO resignation
Berenberg upgraded Mobileye from hold to buy and raised the price target from $10.80 to $11.00, saying the stock overreacted to the resignation of co-founder and CEO Amnon Shashua. The analyst sees the fundamental investment thesis unchanged and expects lasting margin improvements, supported by a new Israeli R&D subsidy law that raises adjusted EBIT margin in 2026 by about 8.2 percentage points. Mobileye reported Q2 revenue of $508m and adjusted EBIT of $155m, shipped 10m EyeQ chips and benefited from exports to China. Berenberg also highlights progress on SuperVision and robotaxi partnerships and expects commercial launches in the next 12–18 months as well as 2026 estimates of roughly $2.01bn revenue and a 19.7% EBIT margin. » More on de.investing.com
