Molina Healthcare rises after strong Q1 results and Medicaid spending clarity
Sycamore Capital named Molina Healthcare its top contributor in Q2 after shares rallied on a strong 1Q26 earnings report that suggested medical cost ratio deterioration may be behind the company. Greater visibility into the timing and scale of Medicaid spending cuts under the "One Big Beautiful Bill Act" and favorable CMS 2025 risk‑adjustment transfer data further lifted the stock. Molina closed Aug. 12 at $206.06, with a market cap of $10.76 billion, a year‑to‑date gain of 20.40%, one‑month return of -7.06% and 52‑week gain of 30.90%. » More on finance.yahoo.com
