Fitch raised Mr. Cooper's credit rating from BB to BBB- and set a stable outlook, but then withdrew the rating after Rocket Companies completed the acquisition. The rating for senior unsecured debt of Nationstar Mortgage Holdings was also raised from BB to BBB- before the withdrawal and later cancelled. Moody’s raised the Corporate Family Rating (CFR) of Mr. Cooper Group from Ba3 to Ba1 following the acquisition by Rocket Companies and upgraded several senior unsecured bond ratings from B1 to Ba1. As part of the transaction, many Mr. Cooper bonds were repaid, exchanged or assumed by Rocket; Moody’s will therefore withdraw Mr. Cooper’s CFR and the long‑term issuer rating of Nationstar Mortgage LLC going forward.
