Netflix rally hinges on ad growth, margin expansion and buybacks
Netflix has surged over 21% since its July low, driven by improving fundamentals. Key catalysts for further upside are faster-than-expected operating margin expansion, continued rapid scaling of ad revenue (which doubled to $1.5 billion in 2025 and is forecast to double again in 2026), and a renewed share buyback program funded by rising free cash flow. Management guided to higher margins and roughly $11 billion free cash flow in 2026, but execution on advertising and margin delivery remain the main risks to reaching analyst price targets. » More on finance.yahoo.com

Netflix rises after Wolfe raises price target to $95, cites content-scheduling issue
Wolfe Research lifted its price target on Netflix to $95 from $84, attributing the weak Q2 subscriber and engagement results to the timing of content releases rather than broad demand erosion. Wolfe estimates about 900,000 net additions in the quarter and expects stronger second-half results with solid 2027 guidance, applying a 22x multiple to 2028 EPS of $4.41. The note highlights live programming's outsized role in top-10 titles and supports Netflix's push into NFL and MLB rights. Netflix shares jumped about 3% to $82.27 midday, and investors will watch whether the stock holds above $80 and whether Q3 results confirm the improved content cadence. » More on finance.yahoo.com
