Northrop Grumman sees Golden Dome as a tangible business and expects an appropriate share

CEO Kathy Warden calls the Golden Dome program "very tangible" and expects Northrop Grumman to receive an appropriate share of potential contracts. Studies estimate the cost of a national missile defense architecture at around $1.2 trillion over 20 years, while a Pentagon approach is about $185 billion. Northrop Grumman receives $215.9 million contract extension for Deep Space radar

The U.S. Department of Defense has awarded Northrop Grumman a $215.9 million contract extension for the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program, site 2. The extension covers procurement of long-lead components, antenna hardware, antenna fabrication and preparatory construction work, and raises the cumulative contract value from $279.4 million to $495.4 million. Northrop Grumman completes Critical Design Review for E-2D Block II

Northrop Grumman has completed the U.S. government-led Critical Design Review for the E-2D Advanced Hawkeye Block II upgrade and will begin integration and testing immediately. The upgrade includes software and hardware changes, uses a modular open-systems approach and commercial off-the-shelf components to reduce costs and simplify maintenance. Block II will be incorporated into ongoing production of new aircraft and retrofitted into existing airframes; deliveries are planned through the end of the decade.
