Weak operating result weighs on Olam share after half-year numbers
Olam shares fell 6.2% after H1 2026 results: operating profit dropped 66.1% to S$55.6m, group revenue fell 18% to S$12.5bn and sales volume declined 10% to 2.0m tonnes. Reported net profit was S$1.9bn, largely driven by one‑off effects of S$1.75bn from the sale of 44.58% of Olam Agri to SALIC and the sale of Mindsprint to Wipro. Management expects the full effects of the restructuring only in H2 2026 and 2027; adjusted recurring EBIT fell by about 10%. Olam announced a special dividend of 6 Singapore cents per share. » More on de.investing.com
