Open Text posts modest revenue growth and outlines FY27 'foundation year' focused on AI, sales and partner investments

OpenText sells data analytics platform Vertica to Rocket Software for $150 million

OpenText has completed the sale of data analytics platform Vertica to Rocket Software, a Bain Capital portfolio company, for $150 million in cash. The deal transfers the software, customer contracts, related services and employees to Rocket Software. OpenText said it will use the net proceeds to reduce outstanding liabilities, which most recently stood at $6.4 billion, and frames the divestment as a refocus on its core business.
