Prio raises production to record high, narrowly misses Q2 earnings forecast

Prio reported record Q2/2026 figures for production (172,000 barrels/day), sales (15.2 million barrels) and EBITDA ($847m, $878m adjusted); revenue of $6.82bn met expectations. Earnings per share were slightly below consensus at $2.59 vs. $2.62, after which the stock barely moved. Net debt fell to 1.5x EBITDA; management expects lifting costs of $7–8/barrel in Q3 and targets production slightly above 200,000 barrels/day by end‑2026.
