PSI adjusts 2026 forecast due to cyclical uncertainties in Europe
The executive board of PSI has lowered the forecast for 2026: revenue growth is now expected at around 5%, order intake is forecast to stabilise at the prior-year level, and the adjusted EBIT margin is estimated at about 2% (previously ~4%). The main reasons are weakness in the European steel market and longer decision cycles, leading the Process Industries & Metals segment to expect order intake and revenue declines of about 15% and a negative adjusted EBIT margin in the low single digits.
