Takeover offer for Recordati boosts CVC shares 3.3%

CVC, together with Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, made a cash offer of €10.7 billion for the Italian pharmaceutical group Recordati with the aim of taking the company private. The announcement lifted CVC’s share price by about 3.3% on Friday, marking its best trading day since the end of April.
