This allows determination of HER2 status and identification of patients who may be eligible for HER2-directed therapy such as Ziihera. The FDA has approved the blood test “Elecsys Phospho‑Tau Plasma,” developed together with Eli Lilly, which is intended to screen people aged 55 and older for Alzheimer‑associated amyloid pathology. The test provides positive, intermediate or negative results and is meant to be used alongside clinical findings in diagnosis. Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp plan to add the test to their offerings.
