  • Sabre appoints Niklas AndrĂ©en as chief commercial officer for airline technology

Sabre has appointed Niklas Andréen as chief commercial officer for its airline-technology division. Andréen will take charge of global sales, account management, business strategy, business development and customer support and is expected to boost adoption of the modernized Sabre Mosaic platform as well as commercial performance. The appointment comes against the backdrop of a recent stock decline and high debt levels, although analysts expect a return to profitability this year. » More on de.investing.com

  • Sabre introduces one-year shareholder rights plan after Constellation builds stake

Sabre adopted a shareholder rights plan effective immediately for a one-year term after Constellation Software built an economic stake of 9.7% between April and November 2025. The stock then rose by about 32.6%. Sabre says the plan is not a response to a specific takeover offer but is intended to ensure fair treatment of shareholders and to make hostile control acquisitions more difficult; talks with Constellation were recently halted. BofA Securities is providing financial advice, Kirkland & Ellis is providing legal counsel, and Sabre remains open to negotiations under acceptable terms. » More on de.investing.com
