SAF Holland increases sales, margin and cash flow – profit jump largely due to one-off effects
SAF Holland increased sales in the first half to €905.7 million (+1.6%, currency-adjusted +4.7%) and adjusted EBIT to €85.9 million, with a margin of 9.5%. Net income rose from €24.0 million to €42.0 million; most of this jump stems from improved financial results due to unrealistically valued currency adjustments on intra-group loans. Free operating cash flow rose from €9.1 million to €65.8 million, mainly due to lower cash outflows in working capital. Regionally, EMEA and APAC showed strength while the Americas were slightly down; operationally the business is solid, but the large gains in profit and cash flow are partly not sustainable. » More on finanzen.net
