Schott CEO Torsten Derr to step down at end of October, Stefan Brandl named successor
Torsten Derr will leave specialty glass maker Schott on October 31 for personal and family reasons after less than two years in office. His successor will be Stefan Brandl, current CEO of Dräxlmaier and a member of Schott’s supervisory board, who will assume the role on November 1. Schott Pharma’s shares jumped 5.5% at the market open to their highest level in over a year, but later fell back and were last up 1.6% at €22.95. The rally for the current year is around 52%.
