Schroder REIT appoints Peter Lowe as fund manager

Schroder REIT has named Peter Lowe as its new fund manager; the appointment is conditional on the completion of the proposed takeover of Picton Property Income. Lowe brings 23 years of experience as a real estate specialist and currently heads UK Real Estate Investment at Schroders Capital, where he manages an institutional mandate of £2.5 billion. Priscilla Davies to become chair of the board at Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust

Schroder Real Estate Investment Trust announces a leadership change: after nine years Alastair Hughes will not stand for re-election at the annual general meeting on 22 September 2026 and will step down in September. Senior Independent Director Priscilla Davies will take over as chair, and Alexandra Innes will become the new Senior Independent Director.
