Snowflake: data quality and governance, not model choice, as strategic advantage
Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy said at the Six Five Summit that the competitive edge in enterprise AI comes from trusted, well-governed data and governance, not from models alone. Snowflake reports that 46% of customers plan to increase spending in the near term and that Cortex has achieved 30% penetration in its customer base. Internally, the company uses AI agents via its Snowhouse system (4,000 salespeople), cuts costs through a multi-model strategy and budget controls, and speeds data modernization from years to weeks or months. Snowflake emphasizes interoperability, certified datasets, and strict cost discipline to enable scaled AI deployments with measurable business value. » More on de.investing.com
Gerstner and Wood back Snowflake as revenue growth accelerates
13F filings show Brad Gerstner holds a large stake in Snowflake and Cathie Wood opened a new position. Management highlighted AI features like Snowflake Intelligence and Cortex Code as key customer drivers, but the stock trades at a significantly stretched valuation versus peers. » More on finance.yahoo.com
Snowflake's AI tools drive strongest sequential growth, valuation may already reflect gains
Snowflake reported fiscal Q1 revenue of $1.39 billion, with product revenue up 34% YoY and the strongest sequential dollar growth in company history, driven by Cortex Code and Snowflake Intelligence. Management raised full-year product revenue guidance to $5,840 million, signaling a reacceleration of growth. Analysts cite Cortex Code and the Cortex AI gateway as key catalysts, but the stock's 48% YTD gain and recent price-target increases suggest much of the upside may already be priced in, leaving limited room for disappointment. » More on finance.yahoo.com
