Ströer tests 21-day line after stock decline, Kepler cuts price target and withdraws buy recommendation
The Ströer share has fallen about 7% since its two-week high and tested the 21-day line on Thursday morning, at one point sliding 3.13% intraday on XETRA to €39.00. Kepler Cheuvreux cut the price target to €44 and withdrew its buy recommendation, saying the odds of a private-equity deal and the risk that takeover speculation fails to materialize are evenly balanced. Analysts say the out-of-home advertising business remains lucrative, but without a concrete deal there are currently no incentives to buy. » More on finanzen.net
Ströer loses ground after Kepler analysis: buy recommendation withdrawn
Ströer shares fell about 3 percent and tested the 21-day moving average after Kepler Cheuvreux cut the price target to €44 and withdrew the buy recommendation. The bank sees the chances of a private-equity deal and the risk that takeover hopes fail to materialize as balanced. Kepler continues to view the out-of-home advertising business positively, but without a deal there are currently hardly any incentives to buy. » More on de.investing.com
Ströer exceeds operational expectations in second quarter, confirms annual guidance
Ströer increased adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter by nearly 3% to about €154m and confirmed its forecast for the current year. Revenue rose by around 7% to €542m, driven by stronger out-of-home advertising and growth in online advertising; the labour-intensive call-center business grew significantly but weighed on margins in the Digital & Dialog Media segment. Group net income fell 8% to €29.7m due to weaker financial results and one-off effects. For the third quarter, management expects mid-term OOH growth in the mid-single-digit percentage range and overall organic revenue growth for 2026 in the low- to mid-single-digit range. » More on finanzen.net
