Trinity Biotech announces 1:30 reverse ADS split
Trinity Biotech is changing the ratio of its American Depositary Shares: one ADS will in future represent 600 class A common shares instead of 20, equivalent to a 1:30 reverse split. The change takes effect at the market open on Thursday; holders must submit 30 existing ADS for exchange, with processing handled by The Bank of New York Mellon. Class A common shares are not affected; no fractional new ADS will be issued—any fractions will be aggregated, sold and the net proceeds distributed. The company expects a proportional rise in the ADS price but gives no guarantee of a 30-fold price level. » More on de.investing.com

The company developed an algorithm that combines glucose measurements with heart activity, body temperature and activity data; the feature is planned to be integrated into the CGM+ solution as development advances toward a pivotal study and regulatory submission. Trinity Biotech also notes declining revenues and a sharply fallen share price, but according to analysis remains potentially undervalued. » More on de.investing.com

The move marks a strategic diversification into a market MarketsandMarkets expects to grow rapidly (from $4 billion in 2026 to $27 billion by 2033), while Trinity Biotech itself has a low market capitalization, high debt and declining revenues. » More on de.investing.com
