Verallia shares plunge after EBITDA disappointment and worsening margins
Verallia shares fell 5.2% to €18.46 after adjusted EBITDA in the second quarter missed analyst expectations by about 7% and the margin declined by 116 basis points to 21.4%. Revenue was slightly above forecasts; H1 sales volume amounted to €1,699m (−1.4% on a reported basis). Verallia confirmed full-year targets of around €700m adjusted EBITDA and about €220m free cash flow, but a H1 increase in free cash flow of 54% could not offset the negative quarterly trend. » More on de.investing.com
Verallia: chief financial officer Nathalie Delbreuve resigns after five years
Verallia announced that chief financial officer Nathalie Delbreuve will leave the company on 28 November 2025 after a five-year tenure. The company highlighted her role in stabilizing the financial position and in five consecutive years of dividend increases. An internal successor has been identified and will be announced in the coming weeks. Verallia recently reported weaker Q3 figures and a revenue decline for the first nine months, after which S&P and Moody’s downgraded the outlook to "negative" while affirming the ratings. » More on de.investing.com
S&P lowers outlook for Verallia to negative, BBB- rating confirmed
S&P Global Ratings has cut its outlook for Verallia from stable to negative, while the BBB- rating remains unchanged. The decision reflects weaker results and unfavorable market conditions: revenue in the first nine months fell by 2.4% and EBITDA was €531m, down 17% year‑on‑year; Verallia lowered its 2025 EBITDA guidance from €800m to around €700m. S&P expects an FFO/debt ratio of 20–25% and leverage of about 3.5x in 2025, and therefore sees a risk of downgrade within the next 6–12 months unless metrics improve significantly; positive free operating cash flow is forecast for 2025 and 2026. » More on de.investing.com
