Vestas raises full-year targets and lifts Europe's wind-energy stocks
Vestas clearly beat operating expectations in the second quarter and raised its full-year targets, after which the share jumped 18% to its highest level since early 2024. The upgrade leaves roughly 9% upside to the EBIT market consensus for 2026 and brings the medium-term margin target of 10% within reach; management also announced a solid share buyback program. Nordex and Siemens Energy also benefited with share gains, and analysts at Goldman Sachs and RBC praised the surprise and the restraint in raising guidance. » More on finanzen.net

Vestas rises after J.P. Morgan upgrade and prospect of forecast increase
Vestas shares gained about 4.9% after J.P. Morgan added the company to its “Positive Catalyst Watch” list, maintained an overweight rating and set a price target of 216 DKK. Analyst Akash Gupta sees a chance that the half‑year results on August 13 could trigger the first upward revision of the annual forecast since 2016. Technically, the stock climbed above its 21‑day moving average, and ongoing buybacks plus the intraday high of 183.5 DKK supported the recovery. » More on de.investing.com
