Algorithmic breakthrough at Xanadu Quantum significantly reduces computationally intensive quantum operations
Xanadu Quantum reports an algorithmic breakthrough in quantum read-only memory (QROM) that nearly halves the number of expensive Toffoli gates for limited qubit sizes, addresses hardware bottlenecks, and makes sequences in QROM modules more efficient. The optimization replaces costly qubit swapping with a copy mechanism and is intended to reduce cost and complexity for fault-tolerant, industrial-scale quantum computers. Additionally, the company agreed a up-to-$300 million at-the-market equity facility with YA II PN, Ltd. over three years and plans an F-1 registration with the SEC; the stock rose about 5.7% in premarket trading. » More on de.investing.com
