Zymeworks rises ahead of FDA decision on zanidatamab
Zymeworks shares climbed in premarket trading as the FDA decision on the PDUFA date of August 25, 2026, for zanidatamab (Ziihera) for HER2-positive gastric and gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma is awaited. Approval would immediately trigger a U.S. milestone payment of $250 million and could enable further global payments of up to $190 million. Analysts backed their assessments and raised price targets ahead of the date, and the planned acquisition of Theravance Biopharma is expected to strengthen the portfolio and cash flows with YUPELRI. The share price rise comes despite a weak overall market and a difficult biotech environment; the stock is trading at its highest level in more than a year. » More on de.investing.com
