Aryzta: UBS downgrades stock to 'Sell' and cuts price target to CHF 40

UBS has downgraded Aryzta from 'Buy' to 'Sell' and lowered the 12‑month price target from CHF 70 to CHF 40 after Lidl announced plans to expand its own baking capacity in Germany. Aryzta shares subsequently fell about 6%. UBS reduced its EPS forecasts for 2026–2028, raised the discount rate to 9% and markedly revised down its medium‑term assumptions for revenue growth and EBITDA margin.
