Plasco employs around 25 people, generates about CHF 6.5 million in annual sales and will remain an independent company under the existing management of Josef Pfammatter; all employees will be retained. In the first half of 2026 Burkhalter slightly raised revenue to 587.3 million francs and reported operating income of 591.2 million. EBIT rose 5.2% to 31.1 million, net profit increased 8.1% to 25.9 million and earnings per share climbed 8% to 2.44 francs. Burkhalter has bought AZ Systems Holding in Landquart, a provider of building automation with around ten employees and annual sales of about 1.5 million francs. The aim of the takeover is to complement Burkhalter’s offering in Graubünden and to strengthen AZ Systems’ market position. The previous co-managing directors, Corsin Alig and Martin Eckoff, will continue to run the company; the location, company name and jobs will be retained.
