The Opposition Division of the European Patent Office confirmed after an oral hearing the revocation of European patent EP 3934624B1 for MED3000 (marketed as Eroxon). Futura Medical said it will appeal the decision to the EPO’s Technical Board of Appeal; the proceedings are likely to take 18–24 months or longer and patent protection remains in force during the appeal.
