Gelteq has entered into a convertible bond agreement with an institutional investor for up to $3.5 million. The first tranche of $1.0 million has already been paid as a convertible bond carrying 7% p.a. interest and an 18‑month term; conversion is possible after six months. The conversion price is 93% of the lowest VWAP of the five trading days prior to the valuation date, with a minimum of $0.50. The investor may, on defined trigger events, increase the outstanding amount up to three times by either 15% or 5%; subsequent defaults allow immediate demand for repayment with 15% interest.
