GigaMedia has extended the maturity of the convertible bond of Aeolus Robotics Corporation that it holds, valued at USD 7 million, to May 31, 2026. The outstanding principal bears interest at 4% p.a. and can be converted at maturity or upon certain events into shares at the lower of USD 1.25 or 80% of the applicable issue price. GigaMedia has appointed Ying‑Chih Liao (Kevin Liao) with immediate effect as a non-independent non-executive director.
