Greene King sells Old Speckled Hen brand to Estrella Damm

Greene King has agreed to sell its Old Speckled Hen brands, including non‑alcoholic and golden ale variants, to Barcelona-based brewer Estrella Damm. Brewing will continue at Greene King’s Westgate site during a handover period before production moves to Damm’s Bedford brewery. The companies did not disclose the sale price; Greene King said Old Speckled Hen will remain available in its pubs and UK supermarkets while it refocuses on on‑trade sales.
