Hella confirms annual forecast after expected weak first half

After a weaker first half, Hella has confirmed its annual forecast and says business performance is within expectations. Adjusted operating profit fell by almost 10% in the first half to €214 million, revenue was €3.97 billion (currency-adjusted +1.6% to €4.04 billion) and the adjusted operating margin fell to 5.4%. Group net income rose to €97.5 million, as high restructuring costs were incurred in the prior year. HELLA confirms annual forecast despite falling operating income

HELLA reports operating income of €214 million for the first half, down from €237 million a year earlier, and an operating margin of 5.4% (previous year 6.0%). On a currency-adjusted basis, revenue rose 1.6% to €4.04 billion, while reported group revenue was €3.972 billion. The company, which operates under the Forvia umbrella together with Faurecia, confirmed the outlook issued in March for 2026. HELLA records lower profit in first quarter with almost stable sales

In the first quarter HELLA’s operating income fell to €96 million (previous year €109 million) on a 2.9% revenue decline to €1.9 billion. The operating margin decreased to 5.0% from 5.5% a year earlier. For 2026 HELLA confirms its guidance: currency-adjusted revenue of around €7.4–7.9 billion and an operating-income margin of about 5.4–6.0%.
