Lhyfe: Messer takes 30% stake in four hydrogen sites and signs ten-year supply contract

Lhyfe and Messer agree a strategic partnership: Messer acquires 30% in an entity that holds four renewable hydrogen production sites in France and Germany, and signs a ten-year supply contract with minimum off-take obligations. Minimum off-take begins in 2026 and is intended to ramp up to several hundred tonnes per year; Messer aims in the long term to take half of the output from the three French sites. For Lhyfe the transaction provides greater revenue visibility, recurring cash flows and the company’s first capital rotation, while Lhyfe remains operator and majority owner of the plants.
