JBT Marel misses Q2 estimates; shares fall 7.7%
JBT Marel reported adjusted EPS of $1.95 and revenue of $981 million, slightly below analysts' expectations, after which the stock fell about 7.7% in after-hours trading. Order intake exceeded $1 billion for the third consecutive time (+10%), the protein business grew 11%, while in the Prepared Food and Beverage segment roughly $20 million of revenue was deferred due to logistics and production issues. JBT Marel announces quarterly cash dividend and $200m share buyback program
The board of directors of JBT Marel approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per common share, payable on June 9, 2026 to shareholders of record as of May 26, 2026. At the same time the company approved a share repurchase program of up to $200 million, effective from May 18, 2026 until May 31, 2029, representing roughly 3% of market capitalization. JBT Marel reports Q1 revenue up 10% and margin expansion
JBT Marel posted first-quarter revenue of $936m (up 10%) and raised its adjusted EBITDA margin by 210 basis points to 15.2%. Net profit swung to $45m versus a loss a year earlier, and adjusted EPS rose to $1.58. Order intake was $1,070m (book-to-bill 1.14) and free cash flow improved to $100m, while leverage fell to 2.6x.
