Novo Nordisk reports that its combination drug Cagrisema (1 mg cagrilintide + semaglutide) produced an average weight loss of 12.4% after 60 weeks in patients with type 2 diabetes versus 9.1% with a 5 mg tirzepatide dose (Zepbound). In a separate phase‑3 trial, Cagrisema achieved a 21% weight loss versus placebo in overweight or obese adults after 68 weeks.
