Rockfire Resources has granted directors and senior executives options on 400 million new ordinary shares with an exercise price of 0.23 pence per share. The options are immediately vested, run for three years and expire on 24 August 2029, increasing outstanding options from 232 million to 632 million (about 5.9% of issued capital). Chairman Gordon Hart and CEO David Price each received 70 million options; further allocations went to non-executive directors and senior managers. Rockfire Resources has adjusted the timetable for the admission of new shares from a capital increase: 1,913,636,356 new ordinary shares (gross proceeds £2.105m) are to be admitted to trading on AIM on or around 24 August, with a further 40,909,090 shares (£45,000) planned for 7 September. Originally all 1,954,545,446 shares were to be admitted on or around 24 August. All other terms of the capital raise remain unchanged; after the first admission the issued share capital will increase to 10,665,020,717 ordinary shares. Rockfire announces that Eastern Resources found 20 rock samples with over 1.0 g/t gold and 13 samples with over 5.0 g/t from recent sampling at the Marengo goldfield; top result 12.3 g/t gold (sample 3017021). Eastern entered a three-year farm-in agreement in Sept. 2025 committing to invest a total of AUD 1.5m in exploration (AUD 250,000/500,000/750,000 per year), after which up to 80% of the license interest will transfer to Eastern.
