Phillip Securities downgraded Shopify from “Buy” to “Accumulate”, citing the recent price rise and at the same time raising its price target from $160 to $170. The firm increased its 2026 revenue and earnings estimates by 3% and 1%, respectively, so the downgrade was due to valuation reasons rather than weaker fundamentals. Shopify recently reported strong Q2 results with revenue up 34% and growth in Subscription Solutions (+23%) and Merchant Solutions (+37%); the stock fell about 2.7% in morning trading.
