1&1: Dommermuth places buy order and aims to raise stake

The 1&1 share rose by up to 6.5% to €20.30 on Tuesday morning after it emerged that United Internet and CEO Ralph Dommermuth had placed a buy order for up to 6 million 1&1 shares with a term until 30 June 2027. The order is to be executed under market-friendly conditions and signals that United Internet intends to raise its current 86.46% stake to around 90% in the medium term, potentially enabling a squeeze-out of minority shareholders. 1&1 gains 5.5% after strong H1 results

The 1&1 share rose 5.5% after the publication of the half-year figures. EBITDA climbed 5.1% in the first half to €382.7 million, while EBIT increased 61.1% to €111.3 million. The number of customer contracts fell as expected by 140,000, mainly due to portfolio changes in discount plans. 1&1 confirms its outlook for 2026 (service revenues at prior-year levels, EBITDA around €800 million) and expects operating EBITDA to grow by about €100 million per year in 2027/2028. » Plus sur de.investing.com
1&1 worsens tariffs, loses 150,000 mobile customers and cuts network expansion spending

1&1 reports first-half revenue rising to around €2.3 billion, while service revenue slipped slightly. After stopping very low-cost tariffs and reducing volumes, around 150,000 mobile contracts were lost, 100,000 of them in April alone. EBITDA rose to €383 million, but group profit fell to €30.5 million.
