Acciona share falls about 8% after placement

The Acciona share plunged about 8% after an accelerated bookbuilding raised roughly €359mn through a share placement at €217.90 per share. The placement price represented a 5.7% discount to the previous day’s closing price. Acciona reports sharp profit plunge, shares fall sharply after half-year numbers

Acciona recorded an attributable net profit of €83m in the first half of 2026, a decline of 84.3% year on year. Gains from asset disposals that supported the 2025 result were absent in the reporting period; two disposals generating around €500m in proceeds were only completed in July. Acciona Energía posted a net loss of €18m in H1 after a net profit of €455m a year earlier, weighed down by sharply lower wholesale electricity prices. Acciona: 2025 EBITDA rises 31% thanks to divestment gains, focus on deleveraging

Acciona reports 2025 EBITDA of €3,211m (+31%) and attributable net profit of €803m, driven by significant divestment gains and solid operating results on revenues of €20,236m. The rotation of energy assets generated transactions totaling €3.2bn (EV) and contributed €614m to EBITDA, while installed capacity grew to 14.6 GW. Net financial debt fell to €6,989m (Net/EBITDA 2.18x) and management proposes a dividend cut to €0.03/share to accelerate deleveraging.
