Bergen Carbon Solutions reports technological breakthrough and receives NOK 30m funding commitment
Bergen Carbon Solutions reports a breakthrough in its MSCC-ET technology for CO2 capture and conversion and has established a stable, repeatable process platform for producing highly conductive carbon materials. The process yields 1 kg of carbon powder while capturing 3.6 kg of CO2 and is intended to enable local, scalable supply chains for battery materials. The company reported a net loss of NOK 9.6m in Q3 2025, reduced its burn rate by 52% since the start of the year, and closed the quarter with NOK 140.9m in cash, supported by a NOK 30m grant from Innovation Norway for a three-year project.
